Alternate Realities is Francesco Ciccolella’s first solo exhibition in Vienna, presented as part of Vienna Design Week. Exploring the post-factual era—where the boundaries between fact and fiction blur, populism reshapes politics, and our shared sense of reality seems to dissolve—Alternate Realities examines our complex and evolving relationship with truth.

Drawings and limited edition prints address phenomena such as filter bubbles, fake news, and clickbait culture, telling visual stories from post-factual everyday life. Sculptural works introduce surreal moments of surprise, serving as metaphors for our fractured realities and inviting viewers to reflect on how we perceive the world around us, one another, and ultimately ourselves.
